What is Phosphoric Acid (H3PO4)?

Phosphoric Acid (H3PO4) is a clear, colorless, and strongly acidic liquid, possessing an odor as well. Its primary usage is for the manufacture of phosphate fertilizers but it finds use in a broad range of other industries, agricultural and chemical activities. Phosphoric Acid is one of the key raw materials for synthesizing a variety of phosphate chemicals and is an important element of many processes in different industries and branches.

  • Metal Treatment: This is used for the cleaning and treatment of metals, especially when preparing the surface of steel for further processing.
  • Pharmaceuticals: This is applied in the preparation of pharmaceuticals as well as other formulations with acidifying agents within the drugs.
