What is Glucose?

Glucose (C₆H₁₂O₆) is a simple sugar that is found naturally and is a key element for energising biological systems. It exists in the form of a white powder or clear syrup. Glucose is extracted from starch through enzymatic and acid hydrolysis, and it is extensively used in the food processing industry, in medical formulations, and in fermentation.
